    James Jones {soldier} born July 22 1744;
    Children: James, born March 25, 1779: Catharine, born December 31, 1780; Eunice, born September 14 1782; Daniel, born November 3, 1784; Jerusha, born April 25, 1787: William, born August 26, 1789, Rachel, born January 19, 1792: Avery, born September 1, 1794, died March 1, 1811; Elias, born February 6, 1797; Clara, born October 6, 1799.

A true & perfect Inventory of all and singular The goods chattels & Credits as well moveable as immovable which there of James Jones both of Stephantown in the county of Rensselaer deceased made by Catharine Jones administrator of all and singular the said goods chattels & Credits of the said deceased taking to herself. Charles Denison and Minor Jones two of the relations of the said deceased made this 2n of october in the year of our Lord 1803.

In Testimony whereof,

tors, jointly and severally, firmly by these Presents, we have hereunto set our Hands and Seals, This twenty fifth Day of September in the Year of our Lord, one thousand, Eight Hundred and three

The Condition of this Obligation is such, That if the above [bounden] Catherine Jones --- Administratix of all and singular the Goods, Chattels and Credits of James Jones deceased do make, or cause to be made, a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased, which have or shall come to the Hands, Possession or Knowledge of the said Catherine Jones --- or into the hands or Possession of any other Person or Persons for the said Catharine- Jones-- and the same so made, do exhibit, or cause to be exhibited, into the Office of the Surrogate of the County of Rensselaer, at or before the expiration of Six Calender Months from the Date of the above written Obligation; and the same Goods, Chattels and Credits, and all other Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased at the time of his Death, which at any time after shall come to the Hands or Possession of the said- Catharine Jones - or into the hands or Possession of any other Person or Persons for the said Catharine Jones --- do well and truly administer, according to Law: And further, when thereunto lawfully required, do make, or cause to be made, a just and true Account of Administration; and if it shall hereafter appear that any last Will or Testament was made by the said deceased, and the Executor or Executors therein named, or any Person or Persons, do exhibit the same, and request to have it allowed and approved, then, if the said Catherine Jones -- being thereunto required, do render and deliver the Letters of Administration; and if it shall herafter appear that any last Will or Testament was made by the said deceased, and the Executor or Executors therein named, or any Person or Persons, do exhibit the same, and request to have it allowed and approved, the, if the said Catharine Jones -- being thereunto required, do render and deliver the Letters of Administration granted on the Estate of the said deceased to the Office from which the same were issued, then this Obligation to be void and of none Effect, or else to remain in full Force and virtue.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS,

That we, Catherine Jones Griswold Dennison and Jonathan Denison of Stephentown in the County of Rensselaer and State of New York, are held and firmly bound unto the People of the State of New York, in the Sum of one Thousand Dollars, current Money of the United States; for the true Payment of which, we bind ourselves, our Heirs, Executors and Administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these Presents. In testimony whereof, we have hereunto set our Hand and Seals, this Twenty Fifth Day of September in the Year of our Lord, One thousand, Eight Hundred and three.
