I found this will on 11 April 2023. This will reads as follows:

  Rensselaer County} So Be it remembered that at a Surrogate Court held for the County of Rensselaer, at the Surrogate Office in the City of Troy on the twentieth day of May in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty in the matter of the Real Estate of Peleg Thomas deceased. present Philip Visla Surrogate, comes Rodman Thomas sole Executor of the last Will and Testament of Peleg Thomas late of the town of Berlin, in said County of Rensselaer, deceased and informed the said Court that notice had been given, pursuant to the Statute in such case made and provided, of his intention, of proving the last will and Testament of the said Peleg Thomas, deceased, and the Said Rodman Thomas brought into the Court a notice of his intention, to prove the Said Will, signed by the said Rodman Thomas the Sole Executor of the Said Will with the affidavit of the said Rodman proving the due service of Said notice upon all the heirs and devises of the said Peleg Thomas deceased, which said notice and of affidavit are as follows to wit: Suregate Court. In the matter of proving the Will of Pele Thomas deceased, Real and personal Estate. To Amy Tanner, Samuel Vary and Ester his wife. William, Very and Mehetable his wife. Jothan, Godfrey and Deborah his wife. Archibald Thomas, Silas Thomas, Abiel Thomas, Peleg Thomas, Jeffrey W. Thomas, Peleg R. Thomas, Javis Greene, David Green, and Gideon Hale Guardian of Henrietta Gray. Daniel Gray, Burton Gray, Hamilton Gray, Sarah Gray, Darrione Gray, Mirtimer Hull and, Nelson Hull. You will pleade to take notice that I shall on Thursday the twentieth day of May next at ten o'clock in the forenoon of that day. Apply to the Surrogate of the County of Rensselaer at the Surrogate office in the City of Troy in said County. to take the proof of and records the last Will and Testament of Peleg Thomas late of the part of the Town of Berlin, in the said County of Rensselaer, deceased. which said Will and Testament dated the third day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine. Dated February 3rd 1830. [Your] H. Rodman Thomas Executor, County of Rensselaer ss: Rodman Thomas being duly sworn deposeth and said that he served a copy of the within, notice on the third day of February last upon Gideon Hull Guardian, of Mortimer Hull, Nelson Hull, Henrietta Gray, Daniel Gray, Burton Gray and Hamilton Gray and the same day on Daniel H. Gray the father and Guardian, of Sarah Gray and Darein Gray: and Depenent further saith that he served a copy of said notice upon Silas Thomas on the 25th day of March last. on Esther Vary on the 20th day of March last. and Peleg R. Thomas on the 20th April last. On Javis Green on the thirtieth day of March last, on Archibald Thomas and Jeffrey W. Thomas on the 6th day of Feb[?] last on David Green on the 10th March last. All residing in Said County, and on the 27th day of Feby last upon Abiel Thomas. on Deborah Godfrey on or before the 12th March last. on Amy Tanner on the 20th March last. one Mehetabel Vary on the 4th April last. (all residing out of the County and in this State.) as appears by these admissions of service of said notice. And further the Desponent saith not. Rodman Thomas. Sworn this 20th day of May 1830.before me Philip Viele Surrogate, County of Rensselaer Jr. Rodman Thomas being duly sworn, deposeth and saith that he is an acting Executor of the last Will and Testament of Peleg Thomas, deceased. named in the within notice and that there are no heirs of the said Peleg Thomas, deceased, besides those named in the affidavit of the Deponent. except Peleg Thomas who lives in Town Canada; and further this deponent saith not. Tho. S. Ranney. Sworn before me this 7th day of May 1830. I. Lameroux, Judge Albany Com, please. Whereas the said Court Being satisfied with the proof made in the premises. That due notice has been given, according to Law of the intention, to have the said Will of the said deceased [proved] according to an act entitled an Act concerning Wills of real and personal property and the proof of them" It is ordered on reading and filing the above affidavit by the said Court that Rodman Thomas the acting Executor of the last Will and Testament of the said deceased have leave to proceed to prove the said Will of the said deceased. and thereupon the said Will being produced and shown to the said Court County of Rensselaer. Surrogate's Court. In the matter of proving the Will of the Real Estate of Peleg Thomas, decease. Gidien Halls of Stephentown in the Court of Rensselaer being first duly sworn, deposeth and saith that he saw Peleg Thomas, deceased subscribed his name to the Instrument,   now shown to this Deponent and which purports to be the last Will and Testament of the said Peleg Thomas, deceased. bearing date the third day of August in the Year of our Lord on thousand eight hundred and twenty nine that he heard the said Peleg Thomas declare the same. to be his last Will and Testament. and that he, this Deponent did subscribe his name as a witness thereto at the request of the said Peleg Thomas. and further that at tho time hereof the said Peleg Thomas was of sound mind and memory, of full age and not under any restraint and further this deponant saith not. Gideon Hall. Sworn this 20th day of May 1830 before me. Philip Viele. Surrogate. County of Rensselaer. Surrogate Court. In  the matter of proving the Will of the Real Estate of Peleg Thomas deceased.  James Jones of Stephantown, in the County of Rensselaer being first duly sworn deposeth and saith that he saw Peleg Thomas Deceased subscribe his name to the Instrument now shown to this Deponent and which purports to be the last Will and Testament of the said Peleg Thomas deceased. bearing date the third day of August in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine. that he heard the said Peleg Thomas declare the same to be his last Will and Testament and that he this Deponent did subscribe his name as a witness thereto at the request of the said Pele Thomas and further that at the time thereof the said Peleg Thomas was of sound mind and memory. of full age. and not under any restraint. and further this Deponent saith not. Erastus Brown of the Stephentown, in the County of Rensselaer. being first duly sworn, deposeth and saith, that he saw Peleg Thomas deceased, subscribe his name to the Instrument and shown to this Deponent, and which purports to be the last Will and Testament of the said Peleg Thomas as deceased. bearing date the third day of August in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine that he heard the said Peleg Thomas declare the same to be his last Will and Testament. and that he, this Deponent did subscribe his name as a witness thereto at the request of the said Peleg Thomas. and further that at the time these of the said Peleg Thomas was of sound mind and memory of full age and not under any restraint. and further this deponent saith not. Erasltus Brown,  sworn this 20th day of May 1830, before me. Philip Viele Surrogate. And hereupon it appearing to this Said Court that the said Will of the said deceased was duly executed according to Law. and that the said Testator who executed. the same was at the time of making such executing of full age of sound mind and memory and not under any restraint. It is ordered by the Court that the said, Will together with the probate thereof be recorded. which said proof is herein, before accorded and contained and that said Will so ordered to be recorded is and follows: to within: In the name of God Amen. I Peleg Thomas of the town of Berlin in the County of Rensselaer and State of New York being sick and weak in body. but of sound mind memory and understanding. (praised be God for the same) and considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof and to the end I may be better prepared to leave the world. whereas it shall please God to call me hence do therefore make and declare this my last Will and Testament in the manner following - that is to say. First and principally. I commend myself, to Almighty God my Creator, helping for the pardon and remission of all my sins, and to enjoy everlasting happiness in his heavenly kingdom. through Jesus Christ, my saviour, my body I commit to the Earth at the descretion of my Executor herein after named; and as to such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to intrust me. I dispose of the same as followeth. that is to say. First I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife, Russel, a promistory note which I hold against William Lagham, made the third day of April 1828. for Two hundred and forty four dollars payable one day after date. which said Note and the amount thereof is to that her disposal. I also give and bequeth unto my said wife all her wearing apparel which she will be at Liberty to dispose of as she may see fit. I likewise give and bequeath unto her my said wife all my household furniture, excepting my cooking stove, wooden clock, large family Bible. great armed chair and one case of bottles. which said household furniture is to be here during the full term of her natural life.  and afterwards, it is my will that it be equally divided between my beloved daughter. Amy Tanner. Esther Vary. Mehetabel Vary. and Deborah Godfrey. I  also give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Any tanner and to her heirs and assigns all the right title interest and estate which I have in and to a certain piece or parcel of land situate in the town of Stephentown. County and State aforesaid. bounded as follows. North by the highway South and east by the land or farm of Thomas Cranston. and West by land belonging to the heirs of Joseph Sheldon deceased. containing about one quarter of an acre of an acre of Land. with a dwelling house therein: also all the right titel interest and estate which I have in and to me other piece or parcel of Land situate in the town of Stephentown aforesaid. an bounded on the South, West and North by land. owned and possessed by the heirs

of  Joseph Sheldon deceased. and on the East by the highway containing one acre and three r[rods] of lands. Unto my beloved son Archibald. I give and bequeath a promissory note which I hold against Redman Thomas made the Twenty ninth day of December 1827 for Two hundred and fifty dollars. payable three days after date with interest: unto my beloved son Silas. I give and bequeath all the obligations which I hold again him, and also, a promissory note which I hold against Rodman Thomas mad the twenty ninth day of December 1827 for one  hundred Dollars payable the day after date with interest. And unto my beloved son Peleg. I give and bequeath eight silver coat Button. and eight silver vest button. and also my frock coat of a dirt colour. I give and bequeath unto my beloved grandson Peleg R. Thomas all the obligations which I hold against him. And unto my beloved grandsons Javis Green and David Green I give and bequeath. the amount thereof to be equally divided between them. a promissory  note which I hold against Rodman Thomas made the twenty ninth day of December 1827 for twenty dollars payable three days after date. with interest. And unto my beloved son, Archibald and Silas I give and bequeath all my wearing apparel. together with cloth cut out for a close bodied boat. a remnant of the same piece and a piece of Gray fulled cloth to be equally divided between them. To my beloved grandson Rowland son of Rodman, I give and bequeath my horse colt and saddle. And lastly as to all the residue and remainder of my personal estate, goods and chattels of what kind and nature server. after the payment of my necessarily funeral charges. and just debts. I give and bequeath them unto my beloved son Rodman whose I hereby appoint sole Executor of this  my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made. In  witness, whereof. I have hereunto set my and seal this third day of August in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine.

Triplett Family - Lewis Golson Triplett - Minnehaha Falls Picture.

 

This picture was taken at Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. I believe it was taken prior  to Lewis and Ida's marriage.

Left to right are:

Lewis Golson Triplett

Ida Greene - the future Mrs. Lewis Golson Triplett, is standing behind Lewis.

 I believe that one of the ladies seated is  Mary Vesta Triplett and possibly Nancy  Nannie Triplett.

The man might be Will Greene a cousin holding his son and Will's wife holding their daughter.

The back of this picture has the following:

    "Two figures on the left seated, Lewis Triplett, standing Ida Greene Triplett. ca[circa] 4888 tom 90. possibly earlier than this date.
    according to the librarian in the Burbank City Library who is an American History "nut", the style of clothing could be from 1880 to 1895, as styles lingered on in some of the more isolated area away from the Eastern Seaboard. anyway, that is "Grandpa on the left". I do not know wrote this information.
