I have been Shirley's Guardianship Officer since Mrs. Gallineau's retirement in 1974. Shirley still resides at the Grueich Board and Care Home at R. 3, Box 950, Galt, California95632. The street address is 10898 Boessaw Road, and the telephone number is area code 209-745-2651. As far as we know Shirley is in good health. Shirley's income still consists of Social Security benefits and the state supplemental payment. She also receives Medicare and is entitled to benefits under the state Medi-cal program.

If you would like to call Mrs. Gruneich yourself to see how Shirley is, feel free to do so at the above number.

I believe that this picture was taken of Grace Hortense Rippey Triplett, my Grandfather, Shirley Green
Triplett who is holding their daughter Shirley Cora Triplett, who was also known in our family was "Little Shirley". I believe that this picture was take in 1914 - 1915. I do not know where this picture as taken-possibly either in Madera or Burbank California. [This is the same post that is for Shirley Greene Triplett, page 9.]

Triplett Family - Shirley Cora Triplett - page 1

   Grace and Grandpa had a daughter named Shirley Cora Triplett. I do not know if Little Shirley was autistic or had suffered brain damage during her birth. I do know that Grandpa had to institutionalize her through the State of California in the 1930's. She was enumerated in the 1940 census, living with Grandpa's parents, Lewis and Ida, in Burbank, Los Angeles County, California.  She lived at a "residence" in Lodi California, not far from where her Grandmother Ida Greene Triplett was born.

     I have only 2 pictures of Little Shirley. This picture is when she is older than the other.
