Grace and Grandpa had a daughter named Shirley Cora Triplett. I do not know if Little Shirley was autistic or had suffered brain damage during her birth. I do know that Grandpa had to institutionalize her through the State of California in the 1930's. She was enumerated in the 1940 census, living with Grandpa's parents, Lewis and Ida, in Burbank, Los Angeles County, California. She lived at a "residence" in Lodi California, not far from where her Grandmother Ida Greene Triplett was born. I have only 2 pictures of Little Shirley. This picture is when she is older than the other.
