In the case of an application for a Pension
by Mrs. Catharine Jones now of this place but
formerly of Berlin Resselaer Co N.Y. there
was transmitted thither an old Family rec-
ord as evidence of Marriage to her late husband
James Jones and she wishes me to write and enquire whither the said record is any longer of
use to the department & if it is not & it is consistant with your duty to do so, she wishes it may be returned, she thinks much of it, & wishes to preserve it & also to have it transcribed - Any communication you may see fit to make you will
direct to this place your so doing will much
obliege the old Lady & Yours Respectfully
