Genesee County [?]} On the twenty sixth day of June 1839 Personally asserted Minor Jones resident of the town of GaenesVille County and State aforesaid Aged Seventy years the 20th day of Feb 7 last Who being first duly sworn oath on his oath say that he is a brother of James Jones. Who was the husband of Catherine Jones now of Berlin N.Y. Says he has examined the deposition of Anna Rathbun this day made and herewith attached and can certify and does here by certify to the truths and statements therein named with exception of two uninformed statement the are mentioned to take place at the [?] house concerning the enlistment and the other and the other in which his attentional was called by his Mother- and in addition to that she has said I did on one occasion when brother James went in to the service take a team and carried him to or near Albany to join his [patriots] in arms and I understood to March from there to Schohorry- I cannot say in what year that was or how long before his return-
My brothers & sisters all older than myself are dead - Miner Jones
