MARRIAGE LICENSE

These Presents are To Authorize 

and license any Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice of the District Courts of Appeal Judge of the Superior Court, Justice of the Peace, Judge of any Police Court, City Recorder, Priest, or Minister of the Gospel of any denomination, to solemnize within said County, the Marriage of Shirley Triplett native of Minnesota (Color or Race) Caucasian age 27 years, resident of San Dimas, County of Los Angeles, State of California, and Grace Hortense Rippey, native of Colorado, Color, aged 21 years, resident of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles, State of California, Said parties being of sufficient age to be capable of contracting Marriage.                        
          In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set in my hand and affixed the Seal of     the Superior Court of said County this 11th  day of Aug A.D. 1911

I hereby certify that I believe the facts stated in the within and above License to be true, and that upon due inquiry there appears to be no legal impediment to the Marriage Said Shirley Triplett and Grace Rippey, that said parties were joined in Marriage by me on the Twelfth day of August 1911, in Los Angeles, said County and State that Wm. E. Rippey, a resident [of] Los Angeles County of Los Angeles, State of California and L. Triplett, a resident o f Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles State of California were present as witness of said ceremony
