The birth announcement card to the right I found among Helen's items.
It was probably given to me when Helen moved into an assisted living/long term care facility in Fresno called "Hope Manor". It was in downtown Fresno. It was a multistory high rise. If you lived on the first floor, it meant you were mobile and could even park your car there. As you progressed through life, you ended up going up to a different floor of the building. At the end Helen ended up being close to the top. The staff at Hope Manor thought my mother was her natural daughter she was there so much.
[You may note, that "Bobby" was born a year after my mother, Lorna.]
