Walkinshaw Family - John Adam Walkinshaw - Obituary

From the Daily Chronicle, Thursday, Oct. 20, 1960 page 10. I do not remember when I received this or from whom. It might have been in Helen's items that we gathered after she passed away. Centralia is in Lewis County, Washington State. I created a web entry in FindAGrave, 7 May 2009. This obituary reads:

Walkinshaw Service Set
   A resident of Centralia for the past 14 years, John Adam Walkinshaw, 88, died Wednesday at a Centralia hospital.

   Mr. Walkinshaw was born June 10,  1871, in Iowa. He lived in Rochester for eight years before moving to Centralia. He was a member of the First Methodist church, Centralia, and the Emmanuel Lodge 405, AF&AM, Blanchard, Iowa.

   The deceased is survived by his widow, Minnie, Centralia; a son, J.R.., Birmingham, Ala.; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Keiser, Miramonte, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Vance Johnson, Mount Vernon; two stepsons, John A Wetzel, Mica, and Harold J. Wetzel, Cosmopolis; a brother, Frank, Lincoln, Nebr.; two sisters, Mrs. Hannah Henning, Hopkins, Mo., and Mrs. Lois Copeland, Maryville, Mo., and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

   Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m., at Newell - Hoarling's, Centralia, with the Rev. Bruce Parker officiating. Burial will be at Mountain View.
