It reads:
Iowa at Washington.
Washington. Sept 7,-William A Evans has been appointed mail carrier at Grinnell.The following Iowans have been granted pensions. Reuben P. Conrey, 15; Michael Scutthis, $20; Edwin E. Brevily, $20; Hugh W. Walkinshaw, $15.
