I found this book about "our" Avery line at Ancestry.com. I believe that the book is also available for reading at FamilySearch.org. You may read the book free of charge. You would need to make your own account which would be a free, minimal family tree. If you do make an account on FamilySearch.org, use the tabs at the top of the page:
To start click on > Search.
Next click on Books.
Enter the title "The Groton Avery Clan". The book should them show up on the right side of the screen
