DEATHS AND FUNERALS

Franklin Charles Lincoln

     Franklin Charles Lincoln died at his home in Stillwater, Ok., March 11 19224, aged 69 years, 7 months and 5 days.

     Funeral services will be held in the Presbyterian  church, conducted by Dr. Allen S. Davis, at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. Members of the session of the Presbyterian church will be the pall-bearers.

     Franklin Charles Lincoln was born at Franklin Grove, Ill.l, August 6, 1854. He was educated in the public schools of Franklin Grove and at Dixon university, Dixon, Ill. February 5, 1880, he was married to Miss Etta T. Keiser. Soon after their marriage they moved to Villisca, Io., where they lived twenty years. In 1899 they came to Stillwater, and Mr. Lincoln entered the service of Stillwater National bank, of which his brother-in-law S. W. Keiser, was president. He was connected with the bank eighteen years, when he retired, and since has not been actively engaged in any business.

     Two sons were born to Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln, one of whom, Henry J. Lincoln, survived his father. Arthur Shelley Lincoln died in the fall of 1903, in California. Henry Lincoln lives in Chicago, and was at his father's bedside a few days before his death.

     Franklin Charles Lincoln was continuously an elder in the Presbyterian church at Villisca and in Stillwater for thirty-five years. He was a very dependable and willing worker in church affairs. He served for twenty years as clerk of the M.W.A. in Stillwater, and was a member of the Odd Fellows.
