I found William Mayes' probate record on FamilySearch.org. It is film# 007686322, image 338. The original page number is 350. This document reads as:

In County court June 4th 1852
This day came Joshua Worsly & Danesia F. Bradshaw two of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing and attached will and testament of William Mayes and being first duly sworn did depose and says that they were present and that they saw the said William Mayes Sign his name to the said Will and that he acknowledged the same to be his last Will and Testament and that they believed at the time and do still believe that the said Testator at the time of signing the same and achnowledging it was of sound mind and memory and that they signed the same as witnesses at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other.

Pike County } I do solemnly swear that the annexed will contains the true last Will land Testament of William Mays deceased so far as I know or believe and that I will and truly execute the same by paying first the debts and then the Legacies mentioned therein as far as his goods and Chattles will thereunto extend and the Law charge me and that I will make a true and perfect inventory of all such goods and chattel will thereunto rights and credits as may come to my hands or knowledge belonging to the estate of said deceased and render a fair and just account of my executorship when thereunto required by law to the best of my knowledge & abilities so help me God

I Wm Mays resident of Pike County being of sound mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament in the first place I will my body to the Earth and my Soul to God who gave it It is my will that my wife Darnash[?] shall have all of my estate at my death both Real and personal and at her death it is my will that my son Gorden Mays have from my estate the sum of one Dollar and also that my son Mathew Mayes have the life sum of one dollar and that my daughter Patsy Pryor have the sum of One dollar also my daughter Eliza Bradshaw have the sum of one dollar and after my death and the death of my wife Darnash that after taking the above sums of One dollar for all my children above named then all my debts paid that my two youngest sons have the balance of my Estate both Recal and personal Wm Mays and John Mays given under my hand and seal this day and year first written
