1838 personally appeared before me George R Davis Judge of Rensselaer County Court Catharine Jones Widow
Of James Jones late of Stephentown deceased the applicant is a person who being again first duly sworn by me according to Law oath on her oath say that the following is a true copy of the family record of her late husband kept by him & now in her possession to wit
James Jones in the 24 year of his age and Catharine Denison in the 21 year
of her age was married in Litle Hoosick on Thursday May the 28
in the year of our Lord 1778
My son James was born on Sunday
March 28 ad 1779
My Daughter Catharine was Born
on Sunday December 31 AD 1780
my Daughter Eunice was born on
Saturday September the 14 AD 1782
my son Daniel was born on
Wednesday November the 3rd AD 1784
My daughter Jerusha was born on
Wednesday the 25th April 1787 [Red color denotes direct ancestor]
