Miss Dorothy Roushall's fiancé, Paul Starr of Auberry, was given a shower Wednesday evening when his cousin, Mrs. Carol P. Maas, and her husband entertained at a party in their home on McKenzie Avenue. The couple will be married in Reedley tomorrow evening.
Bridge games were played in the garden and refreshments were served. Among those present were: Mr. and Mrs. C. Elvan Cobb, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Andrews; Misses Betty Maxwell, Patricia Rogers, Roushall and Lillian Baldwin; Messrs, Phillip Andrews, Richard Byrd and Slasson Vlau.
This is a write up about Grandma Hildegarde's son, Paul, and a party for the couple prior to their wedding. I don't see anything about Grandma being there.
There is a phrase that says something like "the last survivor writes the story". Well I could add a few things here about Dorothy but I am trying to be polite.........
