Grandpa
The name "Greene" was his mother's maiden name. He used to tell me that he remembered the day he was born. He said that it was snowing, and he wasn't allowed out to play in the snow. His parents names were Lewis Triplett and Ida Greene Triplett. He had one brother named Harry who was born in 1891.
One thing that I remember is that the boys always ate ahead of their parents. The parents ate meals by themselves. It was also a household where "children are to be seen and not heard"!
This is a picture of my Grandfather's Aunt Vesta Triplett Murchy. Again, you can tell Grandpa is a boy by the part of his hair. Little boys wore dresses until they were potty trained. It was easier to change the diapers with a dress instead of pants.©All rights reserved by Pathways in Genealogy. 2018 - 2022.
